Tess is far from being in the mood for half of the ridiculousness that they're being pushed into at this gig but it isn't like they're being given much of a choice on what to do and where they can go. She sends him another look as she hears him semi-apologizing and she says nothing as they enter the little area.

Her hood is pushed back as he moves past her to find one of the seats, making her way for the table of assorted make up. It all looks like unfamiliar territory; when's the last time she's touched mascara for herself or applied lipstick? And what about all the steps necessary for that perfect coverage with primer and concealer and foundation and setting powder?

It makes her head hurt, sometimes.

"We'll see how I feel once I'm done with you," she makes the off-handed reply, hands on her hips as she makes a face down at the choices.

Now where to start and with what? What do her stylists start with usually? Gee, it would be real nice if she started paying attention to that sort of thing
