Being told he was to participate in a death match was odd enough, but then finding himself being able to wander around a very luxurious hotel was even odder. It didn't seem to fit. And worse there were people with notepads interviewing and people asking for autographs. As much as Ian was glad to be able to slip past without notice, he still didn't like it. And he kept half-expecting the Daleks to turn up.
Having decided that perhaps it was best to hide away from all these people, he made it back to the lift. But he wasn't so sure about going back to the suite either, so he pressed down, thinking of going as far down as possible. As he waited for the lift, he looked back over his shoulder, a worried expression on his face.
