Steve does give an abashed smile at her once over and compliment. Before he might have squirmed, but with the level of attention he gets here, he's slowly adjusting to it. A surprise benefit, though, he'll never truly get used to the attention his looks get.

He gives a huffed laugh and looks down at his feet, before looking up at her again.

"I'm flattered, Miss Romanoff, you're quite the vision of beauty tonight," he holds out his hand for her to take so he can give it a kiss as he bows in greeting. "Here for the food and dancing?" He doesn't imagine she knows the couple well enough to come for the wedding.
