Despite Clara's feelings, Terezi does consider that sentiment. At least she got to meet her, to know her in some fashion other than a name in a textbook that she had read a hundred times. A story that she had tried to burn into her mind like the rays of the sun had burned into her eyes.
It doesn't compare to being able to talk with her, or to the things that she's learned about her since being here. She does feel closer to her ancestor, however more painful that makes her disappearance.
"Yeah," she agrees, nodding her head solemnly. "I wouldn't have gotten to meet her otherwise. We don't ever get to meet our genetic predecessors. I hope they bring her back here, but... if they don't, at least I got to know her outside of a history book."
