Terezi will graciously allow this topic change, but only because his discomfort has served her purpose. She wouldn't want to drive it home too much. She does want him to glance at the note again later, even just for a moment.

"Yes, that is what I am talking about. I am also talking about my actual physical blood color on which the system is based." She has to wonder if anyone had explained that part to them--both about the blood color and the caste system. It's not like social caste structure is an anomaly in this place, nor should it be a surprise that they bleed different colors.

"Teals are... Actually, our place in the structure is a little difficult to explain. We have your typical lower, middle, and upper structure--with the addition of the seadweller nobility, but teals do not really fit in any of those. Greenbloods are considered middle class, and bluebloods are considered upper class. Teal is directly between them, too green to be blue and too blue to be green. We are either the upper end of middle class or the lower end of upper class, depending on who you ask."
