Kankri smiles warmly when she returns with a full plate. "Thank you," he murmurs as he leans over to look at the food. He reaches out to delicately pick up one of the tiny sandwiches. "Um...shall we go over to one of the tables so you can set that down? I do really appreciate your help, and I wouldn't want to inconvenience you." He turns to lead her over to one of the less crowded areas. Pulling out a chair is awkward with his hands as they are, but nevertheless he insists on doing it for both himself and Nill before easing himself into a seat.

"I'm Kankri," he tells her as he nibbles on another sandwich. "What's your name? How are you settling in? If you need help with anything, you can feel free to ask me, by the way. I'm usually a little more capable than this." Wow, he was trying to make a joke about the cuffs but that just sounds dumb.
