Eponine bumps into him in the hallway. She's already quite high, having consumed quite a lot of the caramels and cherries earlier. And she's been hallucinating Marius everywhere.
She wanders, blind to the fact that she is not in a Parisian street, oblivious to the fact that Marius is not there, singing to herself about her love. And so when she bumps into Sigma, she looks puzzled for a moment, before her face clears with recognition.
"Ah of course, it is Monsieur Le Blanc. Excuse me, Monsieur, my clumsiness."
Eponine refers, of course, to Val Jean, and she smiles, before looking back over her shoulder and turning away.
"I will be good, of course, Papa. Gain his trust, lead him to the nest. Do not worry, Papa, I will be your good little Eponine again tonight."
