"Time will heal whatever ails him, I'm sure." He says it conversationally, but it's followed by a moment of consideration. The man had been on and off his mind since his encounter in the Marvel Store and then the pain he'd needed to free him from. He doesn't feel guilt for it, but he feels a strange sympathy for the man and his troubles.
"If anyone could draw a laugh from him, it's you. You're well versed in being ridiculous." He smirks, just faintly. It's probably a compliment. "Perhaps he knows more than he lets on. It's hard to say." And then he thinks on it for a moment, his expression becoming a little more serious as he speaks up again.
"You spoke of HYDRA. In the Arena. I'd not known what it was, nor had I given you the chance to explain." He pauses for a moment before he continues. "I think I can spare the time now."
