Sam grins at her, shrugging his shoulders in a 'what are you gonna do' motion. "Well, I'm here now, the district's level of charming is about to skyrocket."

But joking aside, he does listen to her assessment of their tributes, and her advice on who to check in with. It's good advice, and it sounds like it's coming from someone with enough experience to know what she's talking about. He could do worse than taking what she has to say to heart, he thinks.
