Sandy fell silent now and her eyes grew unfocused as she too sank into her thoughts and looked to be struggling with them somewhat.

There was so much pain that had happened since her arrest, even more then most of her arenas. Pit was difficult to compare considering how pain faded with memories and time. Even the excruciating pain of mangling her leg in a bear trap haunted her nightmares but in the waking hours it was just unpleasant memories that made her knee ache.

But worst of all was the guilt. The sickly poisoned feeling that made the sweet soup and bread in her belly feels sour. Pruna had been dead and she had thought it was her fault.

Now Pruna was alive but in serious trouble and that was absolutely her fault.

Even with everything she'd done...she still wasn't strong enough.
