The atmosphere was tense. There were tables stacked with easy to make food rations, and basic Capitol medical supplies. Some of those supplies, however, would be considered way beyond basic for those from other worlds; spray on skin, a pen that stitched in sutures as you drew it along the wound, a powerful spray anesthetic, a compact splint that stabilized broken bones until they could be treated, and the burn and wound healing cream.

Radios were set around, and the screens that normally showed the games instead flickered between various security cameras places around the neighborhood. The largest screen showed the camera aimed at the training centered front door.
01:48 pm - INTEL
gamemakers: (surprise.)

What| Alien attack
Where| One of the ball rooms, which has been transformed into a command room.

One of the ball rooms has been taken over and transformed, clearly pulling on the tech the Gamemakers use to monitor the arenas. Maps are projected on the walls, with the heat signatures of whomever is in the area glowing in vivid warm colors within the green lines of the map.

Each person has their own monitor projecting the same image, where they can zoom in on areas of the map, as well as pull up any security camera feeds they would like. A radio headset is sitting next to their consuls, with the channels for the main discussion, and the choice to tap into any teams private channel.
01:48 pm - COMBAT A
gamemakers: (surprise.)
Who| Combat group A
What| Alien attack
Where| The Tunnels and surrounding area at the edge of town.

A small amount of Peacekeeper leads the group on to vehicles, driving them to mouth of the tunnel.

It is a huge, dark thing, going straight back, with room for multiple trains at the same time. It is also pitch black.
Not far into the mouth of the tunnel, a maintenance track breaks off, to run parallel to the main track, it's self big enough to hold two trains.

And not far past that split, both tunnels begin to change. The walls and floors are coated with bio-matter, changing the environment. It becomes hot and humid, and a bit farther in, full of eggs. Some very close to hatching. And deeper within still can be found the queen, huge and vicious. Have fun!
01:48 pm - COMBAT B
gamemakers: (surprise.)
Who| Combat B
What| Alien attack
Where| The neighborhood under attack.
Warnings/Notes| Please post any warning in your threads subject header when they become applicable. Please shot any questions/concerns to mod through PM. Here is the plotting post for reference.

This group is sent into the neighborhood directly from the training center.

The neighborhood, like many in the Capitol, is comprised up tightly packed town house like residential buildings, as well as smatterings of boutique like stores gathered around large intersections. All of them have been entirely cleared out, except for the stray animal here and there.

The aliens here are full grown adults, and they are viciously (do they do it any other way?) defending the queen and her nest.
