Dave leaving actually surprises her, though deep down Rose knows it shouldn't. But she's so used to it, to Dave always being on her side that this feels strange. And her shock shows for a brief second, Rose half starting on a light "Da-" before she bites the word off. No. She knows what the look he gave her means, she's fluent in Dave after all.

And so Rose just stands there for a second before turning on her own heel and going, thoughts whirling round her head.
