"No, I -- I trust you," Carlos admits, taking off his glasses to fiddle with them, looking away. "You put yourself in a lot of danger to help me in the arena, when you didn't have to. You had no way of knowing I was involved in the rebellion -- for all you knew, I could have tried to kill you the second I was out of the lake. And you told me you wanted to work against the Capitol before you knew the Speakeasy was safe." He glances back up at Steve. "Scientifically speaking, the odds of you taking those kinds of risks and planning to betray us to the Capitol are infinitesimally small."
