"I'm a teacher. A teacher who teaches genetics and biology," Charles said. Never had he thought lying would come so naturally to him when in the middle of a conversation. Still, he thought it was best to keep facts about himself hidden. After all, secrecy was one's first line of defense...and they didn't really have any privacy here.

"I prefer to help them understand the science before they apply it," Charles smiled, considering his next move carefully before he did.
