The tone doesn't go amiss, it's met with a slight and brief strain of his smile before he distracts from it and reaches for the hand. His shake is as formal as one would expect from a Prince, it's followed by a slight bow of his head.

"Likewise, I've seen you around before but I've never had the chance to introduce myself." He observes with a small lilt of his head. "I suppose we've always had reason to be busy- I'm not interrupting you from anything, am I?"
