"I...dunno." She had started decisively but was confused.

"I don't know, I wanted to see him when I was little but I didn't know where to look. And when I finally found him he was with those guys...doing what they did." She hung her head and ran her fingers through her hair.

"Like it even matters. I'd have to go home first and if I go home I'll just get eaten by the monsters anyway."
