The chilly air outside was comforting to Elsa. She inhaled deeply, as if she couldn't get enough of it. Anyone else might have been too cold, in such a revealing outfit and nothing to cover up with- but not Elsa. This was her favorite kind of weather, aside from outright snow.

Elsa continued to breathe as Effie spoke, perhaps sounding a lot like she was hyperventilating. It was almost true- but the heavy, labored breathing was helping her calm down. "I'm sure they are," Elsa said, unable to help a bitterness in her tone. "I don't think they want them hurt before they can die properly."

As she finished, she felt a stab of guilt. The woman was being friendly, she didn't deserve hostile remarks thrown at her. "...Sorry," Elsa added after a second. "I'm sorry. I'm not angry at you- I'm just... tired."
