To say he'd exhausted himself was an understatement. Kain had spent so much time training, he'd gone a bit... overboard. He was in need of a break and a change of scenery. He really could do with some time outdoors, doing most anything, really, even if it was just exploring the Capitol further, and finding out more about its ways. Perhaps he could find a pleasant, isolate place to spend some time in out there.

...Right. Perhaps.

He heads outside, glancing around the area and deciding on his next move.

Today had been tiring. Perry would have liked to say that he'd spent all day in the training room, but it was more like spending all day in the lounge, being berated by people because he just wasn't doing that well with the sponsors. It wasn't that they didn't like him; they didn't know him.

And he didn't feel like changing that. He'd ducked out of the tower as soon as he could, and he'd walked around it, before thinking about what he wanted to do. He was making the pass when he saw Kain. Perry didn't know what to do at first; last time he'd seen him, it'd been at the cornucopia.

Perry slowly raised his hand in greeting. "Hey."

It was something that Kain couldn't quite get used to either- seeing all of the other tributes after what they'd been through, especially those he'd faced in combat or otherwise. And knowing that they'd all had to fight and die and prepare for it anew again...

He glanced over when Perry spoke up. They'd only crossed paths at the very beginning, but he remembered the fact that despite colliding a bit, he'd tried to push a weapon toward him. Tried to keep up the alliance amidst all of the chaos.

So he added a greeting in return, a serious nod and, "It's been a while."
