[Her Flat : Closed to Signless]
It had been devastating to watch him die. Probably more-so because she considered him a good friend. There was something undoubtedly uncomfortable about it, probably because he was back to fair health so quickly. But still. At least he was back and had his health. Some people in the districts didn't even seem to have that. Her flat was in a sleek upcoming part of the capitol best suited to the young affluent population. And what better way to celebrate than to invite a friend for tea?
The sound of the bell chiming was the signal for her to grin. "Turn on the hob." She ordered into the air, before going to answer the door. Pasha peered around the door, done out in her casual best and offering a wide grin. "You found it. I am so glad. Please, come in!"
[Supernova : Open to all]
The shop was doing bustling trade. Pasha was in there most days, dressed in clothing from the range available in the store and bouncing from shop floor to behind the counter. Tribbles were still a popular pet but they'd lost their vogue somewhat. Enough of a money spinner for her not to give up on the customisation yet but not the main focus of the oddities shop much longer. Anytime the door opened the customer or perhaps just curious wanderer would find themselves met with a blue-eyed bundle of curls and dimples and gushing happiness.
[Out in the Capitol : Open to all]
But as much as she enjoyed work, she enjoyed the benefits of her new found affluence even more. Never more than when she got to go out and about by herself. By nature the diminutive Capitolian was a little bit of a loner and she enjoyed her own company. She was just as happy sat at the front of cafes reading thick tomes dedicated to teaching herself more as she was hunting out more oddities for her shops.
It was just unfortunate that her heeled shoes had the habit of tripping her up when she wasn't paying full attention to where she was going.
[Capitol Party : Open to all]
Viewing parties had been a part of her life as a small child. Her mother, a district escort at the time, had often pulled her along to them in an appropriately fluffy frock to be oohed and ahhed over by her friends. Now as an adult they were a valued opportunity to network and get her shop a little better known. The social aspect of it didn't thrill her exactly but it had to be done if she wanted to further her business. And at least now she got to dress herself when her mother didn't butt in.
"Pasha Chekov." She introduced herself with a pleasant smile, all dimples and flushed cheeks, to anyone who was within range. "I don't beliewe we hawe met prewiously."

Katniss wasn't much for pets. But she knew people who were. People who she felt she should probably be doing something nice for.
So she'd tracked this place down, and no was going to buy her first unnecessary Capitol thing.
They better appreciate this.
"Hello?"
Out in the Capitol

"Miss Everdeen. What a pleasant surprise. Please, do come in." She gestured for her to step further into the shop, masking her nerves with pleasant smalltalk. "Is there anything I can help you with? I am the owner."

She had a feeling that buying things wasn't going to be near the same here.
"I came for the..." She gestured with her hands, shaping a little ball in the gap between them. "The furry...trebbles."
Out in the Capitol!
The entire thing had badly shocked him so that, even in the days surrounding his first arena loss, he'd taken to a bit of wandering the Capitol, not particularly taking anything in just yet. It was as though his mind would not allow him that, which explained why, out and about, he happened, himself, to wander almost directly into someone else who seemed to be equally distracted.
"Oh, Mademoiselle!" He managed, reaching to offer a hand to steady the lady in question. "Please, allow me to apologize! I hardly intended to run straight into anyone who had fallen from the stars." After all, what else was her clothing to suggest but such a thing?

"Were you looking for a certain type or colour? We do prowide a customised serwice but they take a few days to arriwe." She told her folding her hands and smiling at the odd collection of cooing beasts.

"I just wasn't paying attention. I didn't mean to bump into you." Although, she did silently take his comment about her clothing as a great compliment as she smoothed out an invisible wrinkle in her skirt. "I didn't hurt you, did I?" She asked, concern marring her sweet face.

That was the best of ways to put it, really. It combined the things Joly found incredible in the good ways along with those he had found that he was not so crazy about.

Should she buy other tribbles too? Maybe she would see how this went first. She didn't want to fill 12 with them if she hated the things.
It was on the tip of her tongue to ask if they were edible, when she remembered that around here, that wouldn't really fly well. Moving up to the glass, she eyed one of the little fluff balls with trepidation.

CRASHES IN FIFTEEN MINUTES LATE WITH STARBUCKS
"Really, the worst part of finding it was the cold. I'm still not used to temperatures like this."
He steps past her, taking a look around her apartment. He hasn't yet actually seen how a Capitolite lives -- admittedly, he's curious.

She glanced at the other woman, silently wondering why she wanted the pet when she seemed so aloof the rest of the time. Perhaps she was lonely. "Would you like to try holding one?" Pasha suggested. "They're wery soft to touch. Hawe you thought about what size of tribble you would like?"
no subject
She looked at the ones in the cages, and now she was paying attention, she could see some size variation between them. Studying the little balls of fluff, she tried to imagine which size would suit Peeta, finally pointing to one of the larger.
"Can I hold that one?"
