[OPEN] They say Curiosity killed the cat...
Who: Terezi; OPEN
What: Exploring the city, trying to figure out what the hell is going on. Come meet the blind alien girl, let her sniff you, etc.
Where: District 3 Quarters, Training Area or out in the Capitol. (Anywhere that she might run into your character!)
When: Shortly after arrival; nowish.
Warnings: None that immediately come to mind.
Most people might be more apprehensive upon waking up in a strange place, being given a strange device, and told that they'll be participating in a strange--and rather macabre--death match event. Terezi Pyrope, however, has never been one for timidity.
She finds herself wandering the tribute-accessible regions of the Capitol, sniffing about whatever colorful bit of the city catches her fancy and interrogating whoever she comes across... So long as they seem in the least bit knowledgeable. That rules out most of the foppish looking citizens, but hey. There's always time for a break to harass the locals while on the hunt for Truth and Justice.
She realizes that she could probably find more immediate contact over this communication device, but let's be honest: She doesn't trust it as far as she can throw it.

"What the fuck are you?" he says loudly.

"Trollicus Alternian. Species native to the planet Alternia. Technologically advanced. Incredibly invasive. Carnivorous. Easily provoked by loud noises and stupid people." She grins wide, a mouth full of perfectly aligned teeth that could fashion themselves better as Exacto knives.
"You should really brush up on your intergalactic zoology. For your own sake."

"Cut the bullshit," he says incredulously, "someone must have fucked you up good."
Weed. He needed weed right now. And alcohol. A shit ton of alcohol.

She could keep going, but she's pretty sure that he gets the point. She is also equally certain that he has no idea what she is, which has the makings for substantial cultural misunderstanding. Her favorite kind.
Idly, she wanders over to the human, picking up one of the short staff weapons as she wanders past. She doesn't hold it like her typical cane, out in front and tapping along; but rather like a walking stick, an accessory and not an assistance. If she's going to harass a guy with a knife in his hand, she wants a little protection.
"So, is it time for cultural exploration? Do you want to get down and dirty with your evolutionary superior? I can teach you all about how it doesn't suck to not be a squishy defenseless human thing."

Mickey does eye the staff though, he knows just how painful those could be. For a time he walked around with a pool cue and beat people with it, it was much more relaxing than pool, that's for sure.
He rolls his eyes, "you ain't exactly my type."

"I'm offering to show you how a little alien girl can kick your ass, but you don't seem very interested. Or very interesting in the first place. What a shame!" She's not sure what it takes to get under this guy's skin, but she's sure that she'll figure it out eventually.
"So what unfortunate district got landed with you?"
