[OPEN] ► Capitol - A bar | Getting Drunk

WHO| Lindsey McDonald and OPEN
WHAT| Getting drunk
WHEN| Backdated to sometime after Arena 06's victor was decided
WHERE| Some random bar in the Capitol
WARNINGS/NOTES| Lindsey's in a hellish mood

Lindsey didn't realize it at first. Hey, tributes had their own lives, even District mates and buddies who he saw on a regular basis, Gabriel could've hidden himself to get depressed over dying. Lindsey would've understood. Given, he had a better idea of how to get over it in mind, but he would need to find the angel first.

But Gabriel never showed up.

And after a few days of waiting, even after the victor was determined, Lindsey realized that Gabriel was gone.

Just fucking great, every time he got close to someone, made a friend, hell, even forgave an old one enough to maybe consider they could be buddies again, they became Gone. Way to go, Captitol, Panem, or whoever determined things like this. That was why Lindsey found himself some random bar and got drunk.

Parker is standing in a corner, wondering how many beer bottles she can hit him over the head with until he dies.

Well, perhaps without knowledge as to who the malevolent spectre is, but he may notice napkins, crunched into paper balls, thrown at his head.

Some of them may even be drenched in beer.

When he tries to trace the path of the paper, there will only be empty spaces.

Eliot had been looking for Parker and Lindsey all night. He hadn't really expected to find them in the same place, especially since Parker had complained that Lindsey was "mean." Which meant she had to be up to something.

Parker is well out of the way of the flying glass, but the irritated reaction makes her grin. She'd like to drive him crazy: it could be a pet project or something.

He deserves worse for what he did, but if he's going to throw a glass, perhaps Parker might toss one as well -- like the one she's just pulled from a server's tray.

You two are gonna give Eliot gray hair!

Eliot groaned at the sight. He went after Parker first. He knew she'd just escalate things. The last thing he wanted was to see either of them executed for accidentally killing someone else in this stupid fight.

He bumped into Parker, hopefully distracting her enough to get the glass away from her. "Not here, Parker."

"No, here, Eliot." Despite the imitation, there's a clear tone of malevolence. Despite the light annoyance this time, Parker intends some serious harm.

He disagrees.

He shakes his head firmly. "Save it for in the Arena, Parker. Throw paper at him if you have to but no bottles. Nothing lethal. Not in the city." His voice is quiet but there's no mistaking the urgency. It's his "job just went south" voice.

"Save nothing."

Lindsey will suffer at the hands of the insane.

"Where've you been?"

"Please, Parker. Save the revenge for in the Arena. I need ya ta stay safe."

Eliot's tired. Not physically. More like used up. "Workin'."
