Had you from the beginning
Who| Anna and all y'all
What| Exploring the Capitol and probably getting into trouble.
Where| The tower and various locations around the capitol.
When| 7/2-7/4
Warnings/Notes| Nah.
one. the tower
The first thing Anna does is conduct a thorough survey of her new digs. All the electronics are frightening, but she's learned to use the panels in the walls well enough to survive, and she can turn things on and off, which is exciting. But she wants to see everything, so she can be found wending her way through various common areas and hallways, peeping into the training center and attempting to use a sword before learning that she can barely lift a sword, let alone wield one. Okay, so maybe it's not her forte, but if she's lucky someone can show her a better way to defend herself.
two. pier twelve
The spirited princess is drawn to the amusement park, and as soon as she catches word of it, she has to go out and see it for herself. She spends almost a whole day riding the fantastic rides she finds there; the Ferris wheel in particular is enthralling, because from the top of it she can see the whole Capitol. So of course, Anna rides it over and over, peering breathlessly over the edge of her gondola. It's clear to see that she's never seen anything like any of this before, and she's eager to babble about it to anyone who crosses her path.
three. the streets
Anna's seen amusement parks and restaurants and a lot of other fantastic things, but after awhile she finds she just wants to wander the streets of the Capitol, fascinated by the strange buildings and the even stranger inhabitants of this new place. People wear the most interesting things, she finds, things she could never picture herself wearing in a million years. She doesn't exactly watch where she's going, very well; more than one busy Capitolite loses her fancy coffee because Anna's more interested in looking around than at where she's going. But she's chipper, apologizing to whomever it is she's bumped into and perhaps even asking them a question or two about her surroundings. She doesn't have to like being here, but she does have to adapt.

2 I hope this is okay?
He doesn't ride any of the rides--does he look like the type? But he somehow got forced--the crowd pushing him along--and he somehow finds himself in one of the Ferris wheel gondolas, next to another person. He flashes her a tense smile, trying to hide the way his hands grip the bar, and the little "Eep," as the ride begins, the gondola lurching into movement.
Someone's not good with heights.
Of course!
"Isn't this great? I've never seen anything like it in my life!" She's obviously very enthusiastic about the Ferris wheel. "Don't tell anyone, but this is my sixth time riding it."
She clearly hasn't noticed how uncomfortable he is.
yay! :D
"I. Uh. Well I suppose it's safe then." Half spoken to himself. If she's ridden it six times and not died, it must be safe. Safe-ish.
no subject
She leans casually against the bench of the gondola, causing it to swing a little. "Oh, yeah, totally safe. Wait--you're not scared of heights, are you?"
no subject
no subject
She blinks. "Oh, no. I'm sorry! Look, this thing is perfectly sturdy." She stands up in the middle of the little cart, as if to prove her point. "See!"
no subject
As she stands, he can't help but twitch, his hands coming off the railing, as though he--hahahaha--is going to steady her. "I...uh. I see. Please. I...could you sit down?" Not because he's nervous or anything. Nope, not at all.
no subject
"Oh, I'm sorry! Was I making you nervous?" She looks sheepish. "I'll stay sitting, I promise." And then, the princess seems to realize that she's forgotten her manners.
"By the way, my name is Anna."
no subject
"Anna. I'm Dennett. Dennett Norton." Well, that's taken care of. But this needs more conversation so he doesn't notice the way the horizon is receding as they rise in the air. "So, what do you do when you're not here, Anna?"
no subject
She shrugs. "Right now? Not a whole lot. Mostly eating and exploring and spending time with my sister. But at home in Arendelle, I'm the princess and she's the queen. So, sometimes there's boring diplomatic stuff to do, but mostly I spend time with my, um, my consort Kristoff, and his reindeer Sven!"
no subject
Except for 'princess'. Was she--yes, she apparently was serious. "That sounds...really wonderful. Until..." Until the Arena.
no subject
Her eyebrows knit upward slightly, though. "Until I got dragged here, yeah. But, hey! My sister's here too, so I'm not totally alone!" If she was, she couldn't bear it. She's spent too much of her little life all by herself.
no subject
All Dennett can think of is she and her sister facing each other in the Arena. Horrible thought. "That's...that's wonderful. Does that happen often? Them bringing groups of people here?"
no subject
"Kind of a blessing and a curse, huh?" She, too, has often thought of what will happen when she and Elsa eventually end up in an Arena together. It's not something she likes to dwell on.
no subject
But this is a grim conversation and adding to the slight swing of the gondola from the light breeze, he's feeling...like a change of topic. "So what is your home like? You said...reindeer? Like Rudolph?"
no subject
She's got a dreamy look as she prattles on, perfectly happy to reminisce about happier times as she looks out over the city.
no subject
Wait, did she just say a reindeer was a best friend? Nah, must be an expression, or something. But then there was also...."R-rock trolls?"
no subject
Anna nods, looking unfazed by his hesitance. "Yup! See, they look like rocks, but then they unroll and they're little trolls! They're super cute but also sort of obsessed with romance. Love experts, actually! And they know magic, too, and they're super helpful."
FFFFF sorry wrong account
"Love expert trolls." Okay, he's going to need a minute. It's a bit to take in, because it's safe to say he did not expect that. Was she...mentally well? She seems so normal. "What, uh, what kind of magic?" Why not dive right in the deep end of the crazy pool?
I saw nothing huehuehue
She turns back to him. "Do they not have trolls where you're from?"
no subject
He gives a wry flash of a smile, instead. "Really? I...got in trouble for doing just about that same thing." So...he's the troll? "But no, we don't have anything like that. Or magic. Just science, medicine. What I do."
no subject
She frowns. A world without magic? "That sounds kind of...sad. Magic is what makes the world so beautiful, you know? You never know what's hiding just around the corner!"
no subject
Though Sellars could be pretty cold, that was just a metaphor. "We have science, though, like machines." Which, clearly, given his line of work, he thinks is pretty awesome.
no subject
And then their gondola reaches the bottom for the last time and the ride comes to a halt. The doors click open and Anna stands upright, holding out her hand again. "Well, I guess this is us! It was super nice to meet you, Dennett."
no subject
He twitches as the gondola jolts to a halt, regaining a slightly woozily grin. He'd survived! It felt like an accomplishment. "It was nice meeting you, too, Anna. Stay, er," alive? "safe."
