On the morning of February 14th when the Tributes come down for breakfast they're greeted by an impressive holiday themed spread. Pink and red baked goods, chocolates shaped like hearts, beautiful red and pink flowers, adorable stuffed animals all line the table.
On the table is also a sign in cursive that reads:
To our beloved Tributes, Victors, Mentors, Escorts and Stylists. Enjoy your holiday. -- Bartlett Industries
Most of the sweets are completely harmless, but if the Tributes taste the chocolate covered cherries or caramels they find themselves suddenly acting very strangely...

Out and about. Yeah. He'd practically been a shut-in after the last time, hadn't he? Granted, he still had...things. In his head. Memories. But right now, he was going to ignore them. Momoko won, Momoko was out and that meant Lottie could get out next...
...her or younger kids. He was going to have to catch Eliot and talk to him about the developments of the new Tributes.
"Better than before, at least, all things considered." He popped one of the pieces. Caramel. It tasted...a bit odd. More tangy than normal caramel. "How about you?"

Yeah, Tony could take a wild guess as to which one Donatello preferred.
I mean, if a guy had to have a preference...
"Not so bad though, considering circumstance. Nice weather. Good food. I didn't almost lose a toe in my sleep last night. Its the little things that really make you appreciate your obvious onset of Stockholm Syndrome."

"I suppose, if Stockholm Syndrome is your thing..."
Don frowned. Something was...not right with that second caramel going down. He popped in another one - milk chocolate - and his frown deepened.
It tasted fine. Milky. Very milky.
"Uh, Tony? Did you...taste anything weird when you ate these chocolates?"

For a moment, he considers the question, then looks down at the box of chocolate in his hand. "Weird? I dunno. Tate good to me," he admits. He's on what is probably his third at this point, and he's mind chew when he realizes that maybe they actually are a little weird. But he isn't positive it's the taste itself that's weird.
It's his nose that's weird. Donatello's nose. He doesn't have a nose. Well, surely he had a nose. But not a human nose. Actually... now that he was looking at him, didn't Donatello's whole head kind of look like a nose?
It was weird.
And it was actually kind of hard not to chuckle a little bit at the thought.

He feels vaguely drunk right now, which, yeah, that's not unheard of for him at this hour, but he hasn't had anything to drink today. Yet. so, maybe that's a little weird. Not that he's complaining just yet.
"So what's going on? Exciting interviews today? Stylist meeting?"
